A panic is a operator that was designed to keep passageways and exits from getting bogged up. The name came from this job but it has become a normal hardware to install due to its effectiveness. But even if you want a door to be easy to open, many times you want it to stay closed. So a door closer is usually attached to the top of a door but the handle used to secure it can be in a variety of methods.

Door Devices

Sometimes a lock set is not the proper hardware for a door. Many of these doors are for exits only or other security ways. These come in the form of door devices. Push and pull latches help to make sure that a door is secure and also allow for ease of access to the area.
